Our Work
At Senior Citizens for a Better South Fulton (SCBSF), we are dedicated to improving the lives of seniors through advocacy, education, and community support. Our work focuses on empowering older adults by providing essential services, wellness programs, and opportunities for lifelong learning. We strive to create a strong, connected community where seniors have access to the resources they need to age with dignity and independence.

Good health is the foundation of a fulfilling life. Our Health & Wellness Programs provide seniors with access to fitness activities, wellness workshops, and healthcare resources to help them stay active and independent. From exercise classes to nutrition counseling and mental health support, we ensure that seniors have the tools they need to maintain their physical and emotional well-being.

Learning never stops, and at SCBSF, we encourage seniors to continue expanding their knowledge. Our Lifelong Learning programs offer educational workshops on topics like digital literacy, financial planning, personal development, and more. Whether it’s mastering new technology, exploring hobbies, or gaining essential life skills, we empower seniors to stay engaged and informed.

Staying socially connected is vital for emotional well-being. Our Community Engagement initiatives create meaningful opportunities for seniors to interact, build friendships, and stay active in their neighborhoods. Through social events, group activities, and volunteer programs, we help seniors feel valued and included, fostering a sense of belonging and purpose.

Reliable transportation is essential for maintaining independence. Our Transportation Assistance services ensure that seniors can access medical appointments, grocery stores, social gatherings, and community programs safely and conveniently. We work to remove mobility barriers so that aging never means isolation.

Every senior deserves a voice. Our Senior Advocacy & Support services help older adults navigate legal, financial, and social challenges. Whether it’s connecting them with social workers, helping with benefits and entitlements, or providing guidance on elder rights, we work to protect and uplift our seniors, ensuring they receive the respect and support they deserve.
At Senior Citizens for a Better South Fulton (SCBSF), our impact is best reflected in the voices of the seniors we serve.
